Learn. Practice. Make.
Ready to spend more time at the wheel? Our pottery classes give you the time, instruction, and studio space to build your skills one week at a time. Whether you're brand new to clay or ready to keep growing, we'll meet you where you are.
BEGINNER WHEEL THROWING
Six Weeks. One Wheel. A Whole Lot of Clay.
$450 per 6-Week Series • First 25 lb Bag of Clay Included
Our 6-Week Beginners Wheel Throwing Class is designed for people who are ready to learn the foundations of pottery in a relaxed, supportive studio environment.
You'll meet once a week as our instructors guide you through the fundamentals of wheel throwing, from centering clay and pulling walls to glazing pieces of your own. Classes stay small so there's plenty of space to practice, ask questions, and get one-on-one help along the way.
Your tools, glazes, firings, and first 25-pound bag of clay are included (additional 25 lb studio clay bags are $28, or $14 for reclaim clay). Looking for handbuilding or next-step wheel work? We also offer 6-Week Intermediate Wheel Throwing ($450), 6-Week Hand Building ($450), and 3-Week Beginner Slab Building ($225).
